Grommet tips

We recommend not removing your current grommets and bumper guard until you are sure that the new grommets and bumper guard will fit including an "eyeball check".

Please take care when selecting a grommet to ensure that it is compatible with your particular frame.

Grommets can sometimes be difficult to install and may need a heat gun and proper tools like a couple of awls in order to "stretch and slide" the grommets properly into place. This must be done with care so as not to "flare" (or bend) the grommets while doing so which could prevent easier insertion into the holes of the frame.

Beyond ordering the correct grommets and bumper set, it should be obvious to your eye when you align the grommet pieces around the racquet to test if they will match. Keeping in mind that as mentioned above, there does usually require some stretching while installing them so consider that tolerance when eyeballing it.
